THE SYNOPSIS

Shortly after the revolution of 1821, somewhere in rebellious Greece, Liakos Bournovas wants to marry Fotini, sister of the powerful Panagiotis Notaras. Notaras, in turn, wants Liakos' sister. When Fotini is captured by the bandit Captain Arvanitis, Liakos frees her.
