Fairouz is a Lebanese musician and actress. She was born in a village close to Beirut and she studied at a nun’s school. Her talents were noticed by Halim al-Roumi and she studied under ‘Aasi al-Rahbani. Fairouz became well known for songs which were composed by the Rahbani brothers such as “Baktib Ismak” (I Write your Name”), “Noon”, “Habaitak bel Saif” (I Loved you in the Summer”), “Shadi” and “Zahrat
