Konstantin Mikhailovich Simonov, born Kirill (Russian: ΠΠΎΠ½ΡΡΠ°Π½ΡΠΈΠ½ ΠΠΈΡ Π°ΠΉΠ»ΠΎΠ²ΠΈΡ Π‘ΠΈΠΌΠΎΠ½ΠΎΠ², 28 November [O.S. 15 November] 1915 β 28 August 1979), was a Soviet author and a war poet. He was a playwright and a wartime correspondent, most famous for his poem Wait for Me.
