Saleema is a former Indian actress who predominently acts in Malayalam films. She had a lead role in Aranyakam and a second lead in Vandanam. She is well popular in Malayalee audience for the portrayal of Ammini in Aaranyakam and Lekshmi in Nakakshatangakl. Saleema made her debut with Nakhakshathangal, a Malayalam movie in 1986. She is the daughter of famous Telugu actress Girija. She had acted in few Tamil, Kannada, Telugu movies
