Polad Bülbüloğlu is a Soviet and Azerbaijani singer, actor, politician, and diplomat. Bülbüloğlu was born (Polad Murtuza oğlu Məmmədov) on February 4, 1945 in Baku, Azerbaijan SSR. His father was Murtuza Rza oglu Mammadov (1897–1961), better known by sobriquet Bülbül (lit.
