Nicolas Winding RefnĀ (Danish:Ā [ĖneĢkolÉsĀ ĖveĢnteĢÅĖŹĆ¦fnĢ©]; born 29 September 1970) is a Danish film director, screenwriter, and producer. He directed theĀ PusherĀ trilogyĀ (1996ā2005), the crime dramaĀ BronsonĀ (2008), and the adventure filmĀ Valhalla RisingĀ (2009). In 2011, he directed the action drama filmĀ DriveĀ (2011), for which he won theĀ Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Director. He was also nominated for theĀ BAFTA Award for Best Direction.
