Louise Bridgett Hodges was born in Canterbury, Kent on 27 May 1967. She was the youngest of six children, with four brothers and one sister. Her mother was a nurse during WWII and her father was from Gibraltar and became a welder. Louise left Gads Hill School, Rochester in 1983 and went to dance college. She became a cabaret dancer in Portugal, then returned a year later to go back
