Haruki Ryles is a 20-year-old emerging filmmaker and passionate storyteller based in Queensland, Australia. Growing up in a Japanese household, he was immersed in Asian cinema from a young age, drawing inspiration from the energy of Hong Kong and Japanese action films. His work seeks to honour those traditions while creating stories that resonate with his generation. In 2025, Haruki completed his debut feature, 100% Pure Rage, a crowd-funded, $3,000 action-comedy
