Chen Kuofu is a Taiwanese film director, screenwriter and producer. His film The Personals was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival. Born in 1958 Chen worked as a film critic before debuting as a director in 1989 with School Girl.
